So often we are busy snapping images of our children on our phones. Galleries full of images that just sit there, never ending up on the walls of our homes. Family photography is so important. They are the memories that pass down through generations. The freeze frames of happy times that your children will look back on long after you are gone. Investing in beautiful, natural, fun photography is absolutely worth it and a chance for mums and dads to finally be in the frame too!

There are endless opportunities of where to go for your family shoot. Seasonally we have all the weather dramatics. There’s beautiful spring florals and blossom, to the long warm hazy days of Summer and beautiful late evenings of golden light, all the way to the stunning Autumn colours and cool crisp mornings of winter where you can cozy up together on a long winter walk. Sessions can take place in your favourite park (license permitting) the beach, the lavender fields, local woodland, pumpkin patch or even your own garden. You are also welcome to capture your family photographs at home. Our homes are often a labour of love, so why not celebrate by capturing your images where you feel yourselves the most.

What Can I expect on the day and how do I view my images after?

Family sessions normally take 1.5 hours and I will meet you at our pre arranged location. We will then spend our time exploring our surroundings and capturing both natural and some guided images. You can of course bring extra accessories such as hats or perhaps a cosy blanket and I am happy to bring along some props if you have children such as a little chair too. Please do have a read of the guide I have prepared for you which gives lots of helpful tips on how to prepare for your shoot.

Around one to two weeks after your session I will prepare an online password protected gallery for you where you can view and select your beautiful images from. As well as your image gallery I will design some beautiful wall art for you to see with lots of extra ideas such as coffee table albums and prints too.
